Vendors can be submitted by their teams or discovered by ours. Every listing goes through a review process to verify accuracy before it appears on the site. We regularly update vendor information to ensure our directory stays current and reliable.

Editorial Independence

Our listings and reviews are editorially independent. Paid listings receive additional visibility and placement, but they do not receive better ratings or more favorable reviews. Our goal is to be the most trustworthy resource for compliance professionals, and that starts with honest, unbiased information.

Editorial Team & Review Process

ComplyGuide is maintained by a team of compliance industry analysts who track the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software market. Our editorial process includes:

• Vendor verification — every listing is verified against the vendor's public documentation, pricing pages, and product capabilities before publication.
• Framework mapping — compliance framework support claims are cross-referenced with official audit reports, partner listings, and product documentation.
• Regular review cycles — all vendor profiles, pricing data, and comparison pages are reviewed on a recurring basis to ensure accuracy. Pages display their last review date.
• User-reported corrections — vendors and users can report inaccuracies via our contact page. We investigate and update within 48 hours.

How We Rank Vendors

Our "Best Tools" rankings are based on a weighted evaluation of four factors:

1. User ratings — aggregated from verified review platforms and direct user feedback.
2. Framework coverage breadth — number of compliance frameworks actively supported with evidence collection and reporting.
3. Feature depth — evaluation of automation capabilities including evidence collection, policy management, continuous monitoring, and audit readiness.
4. Market maturity — company track record, customer base size, and industry analyst assessments.

No vendor can pay for a higher ranking. Paid listings receive enhanced visibility (featured placement, badges) but rankings are determined solely by the criteria above.
